Companionship

Sometimes, all the care that’s needed is a daily visit to have a cup of tea and a chat – this is where our companionship service comes in!  Companionship home care is a popular choice to ease feelings of loneliness and isolation.

For many people who are living alone, having a health condition or limited mobility can mean they become quite isolated and lonely and there may not be as many friends around as there once was. Having a familiar face pop in to visit can make all of the difference in the world – even just having a cup of tea and a chat can make a big difference to their general happiness and well-being.

The choice is yours

Our companionship service is tailored to the individuals preferences – they can choose each day what they fancy doing – or can even pre-plan the week. From visiting a garden centre, going shopping, playing a game, watching a regular TV program or having tea and cake – the choice is theirs.

Keron and Clare have been providing care at home for my wife, who has advanced dementia, for a number of years. The standard of care they provide is exemplary demonstrating a full understanding of her needs. They have become her friend as well as her carer. Their presence enables me to take breaks fully confident that my wife is properly looked after when I am away. Their presence therefore not only enhances my wife’s quality of life but my own as well.
